We study how the heart and striated muscles adapt to physiological and pathological stress. We investigate the molecular mechanisms driving circadian regulation, diabetes, right ventricular remodeling, hypoxia responses, and sex-specific aging. Our goal is to uncover fundamental biology that guides new therapies for cardiovascular disease.
